Who is Celia Cruz?
Join us for a family-friendly celebration of Celia Cruz, the “Queen of Salsa,” in this lively concert hosted by JLCO bassist Carlos Henriquez, who as a teenager played in Cruz’s band. Experience the infectious rhythms of salsa music while learning about Cruz’s incredible impact on Latin music history. Accompanied by the soulful vocals of Ariacne Trujillo Duran, this performance will take you on a journey through Cruz’s life, music, and cultural legacy, offering a fun and educational introduction to the world of salsa for audiences of all ages.

WEBOP FAMILY JAZZ PARTIES
Bring your little ones and get ready to sing, clap, stomp, and dance at a WeBop Family Jazz Party—an unforgettable live music experience designed for children ages 8 months to 8 years and their grown-ups.
Led by the WeBop Family Jazz Band, each party introduces young listeners to legendary music and stories from America’s jazz tradition—with plenty of joyful movement and hands-on fun.
